The Shat Chakra Nirupana is actually a portion of a larger text called the Shritattvachintamani . It consists of 55 verses written in Sanskrit. The text was famously translated into English by Sir John Woodroffe (under the pseudonym Arthur Avalon) in 1919 in his seminal book, The Serpent Power .
